Family meals represent a third of the total visits in commercial restaurants! And within this percentage, we find parents, friends, or families whose ultimate goal is to please their children. This is the main reason for taking a family meal out!

The children's taste also greatly influences the choice of the families. This criterion impacts the choice of the place in 22% of the visits and influences 1 visit out of 3 in fast food restaurants.

Moreover, for 85% of respondents, vacations are synonymous with time spent with the family! For 45% of respondents, it is even about family activities. The family bond is therefore of primary importance in consumers' expectations of vacations and outings.

First of all, what does a child eat? Or rather, what would most kids want to eat EVERY day? Yes, burgers and fries! So it's no surprise that the most popular type of food for kids is fast food. We count 43% of family visits influenced by children.

Then there are cafeterias, with 27%, and finally thematic restaurants, such as grill restaurants or world cuisine, with 19%.

So pamper your customers, and when you see children entering your establishment, go all out! Toys on your children's menus (children's menus!), fun activities, birthday gifts... Let your imagination run wild!
