One team, one game: The story of the game Square Challenge by its Creator!
Have you heard of Square Challenge? A logic game for children's menus, as well as for kits in family-friendly establishments. A strategy game, made from paper and cardboard in an eco-friendly way. Its creator, Timothy, Key Account Manager at Welcome Family, gives us an interview to tell us the story of this game, which is now a must-have in Welcome Family's range of eco-responsible games.
What is Square Challenge? Square Challenge is a puzzle-like logic game consisting of an envelope, a grid and tokens to detach. I specially designed it using recycled materials.
How did you come up with the idea?
When I was on the design committee, I wanted to create a game based on puzzles, an area I'm passionate about. The aim was to combine fun and challenge for families who frequent CHR establishments.
Why is Square Challenge so popular? In my opinion, Square Challenge works well because it's easy to understand and quick to play. The rules are easy to learn in just a few minutes, so it's quick and easy to get to grips with the game in hospitality establishments. What's more, the game can be adapted to suit the number of players, making it even more attractive.
