The third argument in favor of "Made in France" is the environmental dimension. Imported products are often manufactured in less environmentally-friendly conditions and have to be transported over long distances, thus increasing their carbon footprint. Products made in France, on the other hand, are often produced with greater care, and have less impact on the environment during transport.
